Parenting courses

Sarah and Michelle are both licensed facilitators for Care for the Family’s Positive Parenting courses.  This means we are able to offer a range of courses to suit the needs of most parents and carers.  We can deliver the following courses – click on the links for more information;

Alongside these courses we have also been running Parentalk courses for the last two years in local schools.

We run two parenting programs – The Primary Years and The Teenage Years. The courses are designed by national charity, Care for The Family. Each course runs for 6 weeks, 2 hours per session, and covers common issues that most parents experience.

The course is DVD and discussion based so you don’t need to worry about there being any writing or reading to complete. The courses are facilitated by one of our experienced Family Coordinators and a Family Volunteer. The courses seek to give parents and carers greater confidence in their ability to parent. We all learn together through talking and sharing with one another. We hope by the end of the course you will have made a friend or two as well!
