Volunteer Training – Now available online!
We’re excited to announce that we are now able to offer our Volunteer Training as a series of online modules.  Here’s Service Lead Sarah explaining more – you can also hear from current volunteers Lydia and Ian to find out more about our training & opportunities.

Why Volunteer?
Family Volunteer, Claire, talked to us recently about how she has improved her employability skills through volunteering – listen to the podcast here to find out more.

Service Lead Sarah spoke to BBC Radio Suffolk recently about various aspects of volunteering  – go to 1 hr 19 mins into the show to listen.

As one of our volunteers said…

“Wow, I am now officially part of Family First! I just know deep down inside of me there are so many opportunities ahead of me. I am so excited about helping families who are finding life hard, just like we all do at times, but some have no one to turn to. As a proud member of Family First we aim to make a difference in people’s lives and I am so grateful to Family First as our family would not be where we are today if it was not for the amazing support we had. Thank you Lord for all you do.”

Our Volunteer Training equips volunteers to support families in their own homes. We take volunteer safety seriously, click here to find out more about the systems we have in place.

If you feel committed to supporting families then please contact us for more information or an application form.
