Craft evening -12th March 2020

If you are a crafter who would be willing to teach others new skills, or you enjoy learning crafts then do contact Michelle to discuss how you can be involved

Can I bring my child?
Sorry, this evening is aimed at adults

How much does it cost?
£10 – includes all crafts plus drinks and nibbles throughout the evening!

So what will I be able to do?
You can watch demonstrations from experts including The Craft Loft, Kesgrave Art and Craftability or have a go yourself at various crafts.

Will I be able to make something to take home on the night?
Yes! Plenty of crafts will be available to make yourself – the idea is to enjoy learning new skills and get some creative ideas.

I can’t get to this Craft Evening – will you do other events?
Yes!  Our next event will be a Quiz in June 2020.  Don’t forget you can also buy tickets for the Grand Draw which will take place at the Craft Evening even if you can’t attend.

I’d like to give to this charity – how else can I get involved?
You could send a donation or even become a regular giver to Family First.  We really value regular giving as it helps us plan how our work can grow. It costs on average £20 a week to provide a volunteer to support a family.

Where will my money be used?
Family First provides help to parents and carers in Ipswich who need help with the challenges parenting brings.  Fundraising events help us to support families in many ways including providing volunteers and running Parentalk courses.

Interested in fundraising?

Would you like to join our fundraising committee? We are at the early stages of getting a group together to generate ideas and organise fundraising events. Please email Michelle Jones, Senior Family Coordinator, at for further information.

If you are interested in doing a sponsored event or fundraiser for Family First then please set up a fundraising page at There are no charges to you or the charity which means that every penny you raise will go to support the vital work we do.
