I was honored to be invited to speak at the Suffolk in Focus slot at the recent Suffolk County Council meeting. It was a slightly daunting experience with more faces in the room than I anticipated! However, I am incredibly passionate about my role and the work of Family First, so I was grateful for the chance to raise the profile of our charity. It was a wonderful opportunity to help Councillors across Suffolk understand the vital support we offer to families. Ipswich and Suffolk boast a fantastic range of services and charities dedicated to supporting families, and it’s crucial for us to seize every opportunity to highlight the work we do.
