10 year Thanksgiving Event

Patron Liz Harsant, Deputy Mayor Elizabeth Hughes and Service Lead Sarah Stapleton

We enjoyed a lovely service to celebrate 10 years of supporting families in Ipswich. We were joined by volunteers – old and new, team members, supporters and families. Jan Baker, trustee and founder member shared the history of how we’ve got to where we are today and Sarah Stapleton, Service Lead, talked about where we are now and our vision for the future. We also heard testimony from Family Coordinator Janine Lawrence and volunteer Aud Catto. However, it was the personal testimony shared by a family that really touched all our hearts. Tanya shared openly about where her family had been when we met, how we helped and, most importantly, where they are now. It was amazing to hear and a real reminder of why we do what we do.

We were delighted to be joined by Cllr Elizabeth Hughes in her final official duty as Deputy Mayor. She shared her thoughts on the amazing work carried out by people of faith in Ipswich and how important she believed this is.

It was a wonderful morning and we would like to thank all involved in making in happen.
